Project Overview
The project sought to enhance agroforestry practices and improve nutrition by planting avocado trees on the school premises. As part of our Forest Whispers Movement, the project promoted inclusion, allowing children with disabilities to actively contribute to climate change action through forestry activities. This holistic approach not only nurtures the environment but also cultivates personal growth and resilience among the students, positioning them as mindful advocates for sustainable practices in their communities.
Opportunity to Scale
To scale the project’s impact, a forest bathing walk will be organized for the students, offering a transformative experience in nature. This activity aims to deepen their appreciation for the environment, promote self-reflection and personal growth, and inspire a lifelong commitment to environmental conservation. By combining agroforestry, nutrition enhancement, and inclusive environmental education, the project seeks to empower students to become mindful stewards of the planet and advocates for sustainable practices.
