Gen Z, born roughly between 1997 and 2012, is characterized by their digital nativity, global perspective, and strong sense of social justice. They are the first generation to grow up with the internet and social media as integral parts of their lives, making them adept at leveraging these tools for activism and advocacy. Moreover, Gen Z is highly informed and passionate about issues such as climate change, inequity, and human rights. Their willingness to challenge the status quo and demand accountability from leaders makes them a formidable force for change.
The Kenyan Political Context
